The NCTA Big Ten Taekwondo Conference was founded at Michigan State University in 1999. It was formed to promote the collegiate Taekwondo experience, foster camaraderie, give practical experience in sparring, forms, refereeing and judging and to prepare our future athletes for Collegiate Nationals and United States Nationals.
The First Big Ten Tournament was held at Michigan State in November of 1999. The second was held at the University of Michigan in February of 2001.
